FAQ
Q: How do I apply for a job at Algorithmics?
A: Start by reviewing our current job postings. If you find one you are interested in, simply follow the application instructions at the bottom of the posting.
Q: What if there is not a position listed on the website that would be a fit for me? Can I still submit my resume?
A: Definitely! Use our online form to submit your resume. Algorithmics keeps all resumes in a searchable database so that we can contact you when future opportunities match your experience and skills.
Q: Will I be personally contacted?
A: Unfortunately, we are not able to personally contact each person who submits a resume. Should we be interested in speaking with you further, a representative from Human Resources will contact you.
Q: How will I be considered for future opportunities?
A: Algorithmics has a searchable database where all resumes are stored. We perform database queries for open positions on a daily basis, to ensure that all suitable candidates are considered. If you have applied to Algorithmics in the past six months, then your resume will be matched to potential openings automatically.
Q: How often should I submit my resume?
A: Once! By using our online tool, you will be assigned a user name and password. These logins enable you to update your resume as often as you wish without re-applying.
Q: It's time for my interview. What are some things I should know?
A: Candidates invited to Algorithmics for an interview will meet with their potential manager. Depending upon the position or business line, you may also meet with the department Director, a Vice President and one or more peers. Should you be successful during your first interview, you can expect to visit Algorithmics for at least a second interview before a final decision is made. For certain technical positions, testing may be required. If testing is scheduled to take place, Human Resources will notify you in advance. Our selection process usually takes between 3-6 weeks.
